PROJECT- AQI Monitoring
India is an open gas chamber and the air quality is constantly deteriorating. It is high time we take urgent action to curb the pollution levels by first focusing on closely monitoring it.
Environment monitoring is extremely crucial and is urgently required to protect the public and environment from toxic contaminants.
AQI levels vary drastically from region to region (industries to cities), with our project, we want to get 3D mapping of the pollution level across a large area to get a better overview of the major sources contributing and if we are able to closely monitor these variations, then it could give us a better idea to effectively impose necessary restrictions on the contributors.
Our Approach

We will set the flight path across glaciers, industries, cities and see how the pollution level vary from meter to meter scale.

With the integration of camera and AQI sensor to the UAV, it is possible to get real time data of the air quality and get the idea of the sources that are contributing by maximum amount to it.

We can then take preventive measures by asking industries and areas that are contributing maximum to pollution to curb their emission levels.
